Te Kiri o Rauru Fishing Charters is based at Port Whanganui, the area known as Te Kaihau a Kupe is along the West coast of Te Ika a Maui (North Island). Our Waka the 'Vagabond K' has been in service for over a decade and our crew know these waters, if you come out with us you are guaranteed to catch some fish.
We offer a fun and safe fishing experience, we're available every day leaving the wharf at 0700 with rods and bait provided. Our awesome crew are great with everyone, whether it's your first time ever fishing, first time on a boat or you're used to catching big fish all year round.

Weather
We cannot enter open water under unsafe conditions. We will cancel a charter trip if the forecast shows a northerly wind of 20-25 knots or a southerly above 20 knots.
